  • Here Be Thy Port!

Ahhoy matey! This be thy port, of The Grey Havens. What do we do here ya ask? well aye, we talk about the ports in
Middle-earth, where they go to, and back *I think they go back >=)*... we also talking about trading goods, - uh...
wait no, that's not right, now I'm talking about the market.. we talk about being a shipmate, and sailing the high sea's.
We also talk about danger's in the sea, and different kinds of ships. We also except viewer written scrolls on the sea.
    O Orofarne, Lassemista, Carnimirie!
O rowan fair, upon your hair how white the blossom lay!
O rowan mine, I saw you shine upon a summer's day,
Your rind so bright, your leaves so light, your voice so cool and soft:
Upon your head how golden-red the crown you bore aloft!
                            O rowan dead, upon your head your hair is dry and grey;
Your crown is spilled, your voice is stilled for ever and a day.
                            O Orofarne, Lassemista, Carnimirie!

                         -Bregalad's Song

There isn't much on the sea's at this point matey, but check back later.

    The Seaside
The sea choice of travelling is fast, and only, way to get from one part of Middle-earth to the other.
Transport ships (other known as ferry's) transport people across lakes, rivers, and the ocean.
They tend to charge a small fee, depending on the distance of traveling across rigid water.
    The Ship Barges
Board thy ship to get to your destination of the captain's choice. But first learn more about the ship's,
The large barges of Middle-earth are usually human (pirate) built. Some are elven, and I don't know
any that are hobbit kind, there also some very good dwarf ships built. When catching a ship to go
somewhere you have to catch the right ship! and at the right time, make sure you have the proper
dock area, and board up with some supplies, just in case your not welcomed where you end up.
Elven ship's tend to be of faster quality, while human's lack in speed, they make up in the size of
the ship. Dwarven ships are slow as well, some tend to be fast, while other's lag behind.
Hobbit uh..Boats are used for going across river's or sailing down one, there are also these 'boats'
in elven lands, made for the same purpose. What ever be your ship, god's speed my friend!
    Pirates
Ar! we be looking for you laddy! ar! we be Pirates! or what you land-folk call us, Sailors.
We sail the high sea's in hope of finding treasure, or rading other ships from starboard.
We are the scoundrel's of the sea, the stain that won't get out! (mua haha) WE ARE
EVIL! ARR....*cough**cough*...ar, I think I will stop now.
